It is almost 30 years since Lions Clubs International began the Used Hearing Equipment Project in the UK under the lead of Vic Truluck of Hastings Lions Club. Sadly, due to ill health, Vic has had to withdraw from leading this project and has handed over the reins to Penny Tregillus, Ken Wild and Dr Michael Nolan of the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
So this important work goes on and we ask for the support of Lions Clubs in MD 105 by continuing to collect and send in unwanted hearing aids, broken or working, analogue or digital and any audiological equipment that has been donated.
You can include used Hearing Equipment in the same box as Used Spectacles when you send them to us here in Chichester. This equipment will find its way to Michael Nolan.
If you have a large amount of hearing equipment to donate, please contact Chichester Lions Club for details on how to send it directly to Michael Nolan.
